I saw this picture on my LinkedIn timeline yesterday and it tied in so perfectly to the post from yesterday that I had to include it in the thought of the day series. I love this quote so much because it really cuts through all the noise that distracts us from reaching our full potential.

Today we have all been brainwashed that we must always be doing something. We are always tweeting, posting pictures on instagram, posting facebook status updates, using snapchat and whatever other non sense is out there now. However, when are we actually present to the wonder of life at this moment right now? Very rarely unfortunately.

It is not only essential to separate yourself from the noise to achieve your full potential but also for maintenance of your vitality. As I have mentioned in a previous post (Read More: Why I have come to embrace negative emotions and feelings) everything in life happens in cycles. Just like a magnet always comes with a north/south pole everything in life comes with both polarities (the good and the bad). Therefore, it essential we balance doing and being. If you find yourself too busy and running around like a chicken with your head cut off it is essential to take a time-out and get grounded before moving on with your day.

If you feel like this during your day you need to take a step back and get in touch with the stillness all around you.

Okay so you may realize that meditation is definitely something that you need to incorporate into your life but you may be currently overwhelmed with the vast amount of conflicting information out there on this topic. Do NOT worry. Very soon I am going to be creating a free dummy’s guide for meditation that I will make readily available for everyone. However, if you are interested in some of the benefits of medication feel free to check out my previous post (Read More: How Meditation Makes You Smarter).

Be Happy and Chase your Dreams,
